Misamis Occidental National High School: A Part of Our Journey

"Education is a lifelong journey whose destination expands as you travel." -Jim Stovall

And a part from that journey is high school. On June 3, 2013, we took a fun, exquisite route from that journey; We entered High School. Misamis Occidental National High School (MONHS) has been our 2nd home ever since that day as we started our lives as freshmen students. Here are few informations about our new 2nd home.

MONHS is one of Oroquieta City's oldest schools. It started to serve educational services since 1938.  The school principal of MONHS today is Mr. Florentino Santos. MONHS is a school that has more than 3,000 high school students. Each of them belongs to different programs. Namely BEC (Regular Class), STEP (Science and Technology Engineering Program) or SSP (Special Science Program), SPA (Special Program in the Arts), SPS (Special Program in Sports), SPED (Special Education),  BP-OSA (Balik Paaralan Para sa Out-Of-School Adults), and ESKWELA.
Because of this, people from MONHS are known as champions. The hidden talents and smartness of the students are enhanced by these different programs through singing, dancing, acting, photography, writing, researching, sports, and many more.
